That's The Way It Is".

Antonio was born in Lisbon. He spent his childhood in the Portuguese colony of Mozambique until  going back to Portugal. He saw Elvis for the first time at the movies. "That's The Way it is", was his first movie experience featuring The King. Antonio began to know better the King's music after his untimely death. Later the kid grew up and became a musician. He sang and played guitar in various bands and as a solo act. His audiences always said that he sang a lot of Elvis' songs. Well,  "lot" was, as a matter of fact, only one of his songs at the time. His voice reminded of Elvis naturally.

After releasing a few albums with original songs, he decided to pay tribute to the man who has most influenced his music. This is how Antonio started this Elvis Tribute. Besides these shows he, regularly writes songs for other artists. His latest album of original songs includes some of his best creations and some contributions from great friends and musicians such as Monte James, Steve Byrum, David Lamb, Joe Jesus and the late Jim Purcey.

He has released the CD "The Songs Elvis Didn´t Sing" with hits from post-Elvis decades and including some original songs as well. Available for sale .

Antonio won the "Best Appearence" award at the Elvis Fest 2011, at The Las Vegas Hilton, former International Hotel.

He was a contestant in The European Elvis Championships that took place in Birmingham early January 2018. He has conquered the Gospel Award, the only musical area that granted the King of Rock his Grammies

He is the 2019 champion of the Bristol Harbor Lights Elvis Festival.

A new show for 2020 is on the making, with a 14 piece band, where the magic of the 70´s in Las Vegas will be recreated.
